Help us engage our communities at Viva Calle SJ which is an open streets program that connects communities by temporarily closing streets to motorized vehicles allowing for non-motorized activities like walking, running and skating!
Viva Calle will be shutting down streets between three hubs of activity at Tamien Park, Emma Prusch Park and St. James Park. The Authority will be hosting our booth at Emma Prusch Park to connect with our neighbors about the importance of open space and nature for everyone.
The event runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday April 13- the shifts are expanded to account for set-up and take down times.
Details regarding set-up, take-down, parking and the transport of materials will be communicated as we get more details about the event and will be updated on this page. Please note that our booth will include a table, chairs, booth kit, and canopy with weights (plus wagon). Staff will be available during the event in the morning (for set-up and representation) however we will need volunteers in the afternoon to take materials down and return to the office in the following week after the event.
