We are seeking 4 amazing volunteers to represent the Authority at the Scout-O-Rama, which occurs on May 10 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. We will need two volunteers to arrive at 8:30 a.m. to set- up a booth with table, canopy, weights and chairs and to engage the public until 12:30 p.m. when the second shift of volunteers arrives. Second shift will engage the public from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and take down materials at 4:00 p.m

.Scout-O-Rama is the best of local Scouting on display for the whole community in the heart of San Jose at History Park. This family friendly day of discovery includes 100+ hands on activities for all ages. Families may enjoy archery, shooting water rockets, tomahawk throwing, exploring firetrucks, racing pinewood derby cars, slacklining, crafts, life size mazes, and more. Several food trucks are onsite to provide a variety of cuisines or enjoy your own picnic lunch.
Kat will coordinate with volunteers to pick-up and drop off materials at our offices at 33 Las Colinas, before and after the event. Parking and set-up details will be sent out at least 2 days in advance.
