2 - 4 Preserve Stewards Needed for Welcome Tables!
Join us for a fun day celebrating International Biodiversity Day with our youngest stewards and future environmental changemakers - kiddos!
DETAILS
Description: We're seeking 2 - 4 preserve stewards to support two welcome tables for our first ever Tiny Trail Riders Day at Rancho Cañada del Oro! We will have one table at the overflow lot (like Starry Nights), and one at the entrance of the trail from the overflow.
Preserve stewards will:
- Support a general welcome table
- Share general information
- Help participants sign in
- Hand out bike bells once participants have visited interpretive booths
About the event:
We will have variety of interpretive tables/areas, highlighting Rancho Cañada del Oro's biological diversity. We're asking for participants to bring their children and bikes to the Llagas Creek trail and Hidden Meadow trails where we'll have tables stationed with various interpretive materials. As they ride, they can stop and learn with us! Content will vary. After folks visit the stations, we'll have a branded bike bell for the families to take and remember their day with us. We will also have a craft or two!
Shift time: 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM
Program run time (when the public is there): 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM
Location: Rancho Cañada Del Oro Open Space Preserve
