By the light of the silvery moon
Join us on a late evening adventure as we hike under moonlight around the Coyote Valley preserve.
Details: We will set out at dusk and venture into an unfamiliar nocturnal world as we explore the dark side of nature. We will listen to the hoots of owls and scan for bats as we discuss their special adaptations to hunting in the dark. You will experience hiking in a whole new way as your own senses attune to the changing light. Bring your flashlights and sense of adventure to walk a moonlit mile or two and discover a new way to see one of our favorite preserves.
