We are seeking two volunteers to come represent the Authority at Fiestas Patrias, a cultural celebration of Mexican Independence and Hispanic/Latino heritage. The event will be hosted at the San Jose City Hall on Sept. 15 from 4-9 p.m. and we are seeking volunteers to arrive at 3:30 p.m. to set-up and greet visitors to our table.
There will be exquisite food, beautiful crafts, live music, versatile shows throughout the event. While speaking Spanish is a plus, it is not at all a requirement to come enjoy this event and connect others to nature.
We will coordinate the pick-up of an outreach kit, including table, canopy, weights and cart in the week leading up to the event.
