We are seeking two volunteer Authority Ambassadors to join staff in representing us at the 'State of the Valley'. The Open Space Authority is a sponsor of the event and is looking for volunteers to share information about our agency and work.
This year's Keynote speaker is Derek Thompson, host of the podcast Plain English and author (with Ezra Klein) of the New York Times runaway best seller Abundance.
Joint Venture’s "State of the Valley" convenes the entire region—concerned citizens and stakeholders, thought leaders and opinion makers, journalists, students and academics, our elected representatives and their professional staff, business leaders, labor and workforce leaders, venture capitalists and others—for dialogue and discussion about the Valley’s challenges and opportunities.
We will provide resources and materials for engagement with guests. The event is indoors. Dress is professional/business casual, a change up from the usual!
