We are seeking two (2) amazing volunteers to represent the Authority at Starbird Park on Thursday July 9th for the City of San José Parks, Recreation and Neighborhood Services Viva Parks summer event series. We will need two volunteers to arrive by 5 p.m. to set-up a table, canopy with weights, and agency resources. The public event is from 6 p.m. until 10:30 p.m. Volunteers may begin break down at roughly 8:30pm once the movie starts and depart with booth materials when ready. Note, park has a small parking lot available in park parking lot or street parking along Boyton Ave & Starbird Cir. May have to cart items into the park to set up location. Shift time 5pm-8:30pm.

OSA will have a video trailer at the beginning of movie screening.
San José is hosting many Viva Parks events throughout the summer and one of these family-friendly events might be at a neighborhood near you. The Authority is excited to welcome neighbors and community members to our work and mission at these fun outreach events -- we hope we can see you there!
Jeanette will coordinate with volunteers to pick-up and drop off materials at our offices at 33 Las Colinas, before and after the event.
