Help us engage with members of our community at Mexica (May-he-cuh) New Year! OSA staff will provide a booth with Spanish language materials, engaging games, furs and skulls to engage with visitors! Spanish speaking volunteers are desired but not required. Shifts are from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday March 16 and Sunday March 17 with two volunteers per shift. Materials will be dropped off beforehand-- am volunteer will need to arrive on time, set up the booth and engage with guests during their shift. Afternoon volunteers will engage with visitors until 4:30 and then take the booth items and canopy down and stage in our booth spot for easy set-up in the morning. We look forward to your help as we connect with and share our mission of open space, connectivity and healthy communities as well as the opening of our brand new open space preserve.
