Join Michelle Garcia at Máyyan ‘Ooyákma - Coyote Ridge Open Space Preserve for some additional docent training!
With all the rain we've gotten in early February, we were not able to hike at Coyote Ridge as apart of docent training, which is why we're adding an optional extra day. If you're available, sign up to join Michelle on Saturday February 17th from 10:00am - 2:00pm for a hike! We will be hiking to the first overlook and back on the Bay Checkerspot trail for a total of 3 miles with 500ft of elevation.
Our goal will be to see the trail with your own eyes, ask any lingering questions, practice all that we've learned so far, and identify any early blooms!
What to bring: Please wear comfortable hiking shoes, bring plenty of snacks and water, and any additional jackets and/or sun protection.
About the event: This day of training will be a bit more informal. It will be a chance to join Michelle on the ridge, see the trail with your own eyes, ask any lingering questions, and practice all that we've learned so far.
