Day #2 - TM Volunteer support request for this day of invasive plant removal using power tools, mainly weed eaters, in support of Natural Resources team. Volunteer TM's will join Lead Open Space Tech Andy B to address known populations of invasive Mustard, wild radish, milk thistle, and bull thistle at the Kuzia property's restoration site, where the Open Space Authority manages the property for Peninsula Open Space Trust (POST).
A great day to see a new property, support agency goals in Integrated Pest Management, and enjoy working with our talented and fun field staff.
8am meetup at the address listed below.Note that the meet up point for this day of service is nearby but different from the previous month. Volunteers should turn on Scheller Ave, not Palm Ave, and as usual confirm you are in the correct spot by locating the OSA vehicle and staff waiting for you.
TM Volunteers will depart from there with staff for the day.
