Help us engage our communities at Day on the Bay! We would love to have 2 volunteers per shift to support the information booth and interactive activities during this event. The event runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on October 13; shifts are expanded to account for set-up and take-down times.
Historically, Day on the Bay has drawn more than 10,000 people making it the most attended event in the historic waterfront town of Alviso according to the Mercury News. This year Day on the Bay will highlight the importance of environmental and community wellness by celebrating the Alviso wetlands with local communities. We are excited to have volunteer champions to represent the Authority at this fun event!
Details coordinating pick-up and drop-off of materials will be confirmed as we get closer to the event. Please let us know if you are able to transport materials (kit, table, canopy, weights and cart) when you sign up. We will send out further details to sign-ups as they are confirmed.
