We are looking for two enthusiastic volunteers to represent us at Santa Clara library's annual Comic-Con! We will need two volunteers to arrive before 9 a.m. to set-up a table, canopy with weights, and agency resources. The public event is from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. Second shift arrives at 12:45 p.m. and may begin break down at 4 p.m. and depart with booth materials when ready.
The 7th Santa Clara City Library Comic Con celebrates reading and imagination via the comic book medium by bringing together Bay Area artists, comic book shops, cosplayers, makers and authors. The Authority is excited to share our free resources and events that expand our audience's imagination and gets them outside and exploring!
Kat Hill will coordinate with volunteers regarding pick-up and drop off of materials. If you are able to take materials, please let us know in your sign-up. We are still confirming final details regarding the booth foot-print so the kit may be smaller than listed above.
